A BILL to amend and reenact section twenty-six, article two, chapter eighteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, relating to abolishing regional educational service agencies; and distributing funds equally to all counties.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section twenty-six, article two, chapter eighteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
ARTICLE 2. STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION.

§18-2-26. Multicounty regional educational service agencies abolished; distribution of funds.

The multicounty regional educational service agencies heretofore created, are hereby abolished. All funds and moneys held by a regional educational service agency shall be accountedfor and paid to the state board of education, which shall distribute all such funds equally to all of the counties of the state.



NOTE: This bill abolishes multicounty regional educational service agencies and distributes all money or funds to the counties.
